Having suffered from insomnia for nearly 12 years, I have always remained adamant that if there is one skin care product I don't believe in, it's an eye cream. Due to the severe nature of my issues, it simply doesn't help— I look tired no matter what. My eye area is dry, sensitive and highly reactive when in contact with basically any product. In addition, my mother suffers from eczema around her eyes, which I am patiently waiting to inherit. Thus, when testing out the product—even though it looked and felt nice and had a very smooth texture to it, I was naturally resistant towards the idea of liking it.
Well, imagine my surprise when I woke up the next morning and my eyelids weren't puffy nor swollen, nor were they dry or irritated. To say it's uncommon for me to wake up without looking like my eyes have gotten stung by bees, would be an understatement. Instead, the skin around my eyes felt smooth, brightened and nourished. I'm not saying it's a magical miracle product, but it's certainly as close as it gets. While I still don't think I need an eye cream, I can say for a fact I do need this one. There is a difference, and a noticeable one at that.

I love everything about this essence, from its lightweight texture to how well it performs on my skin. It makes any products applied after it sink in so easily. My skin is sensitive, so I tend to lean towards cleaner formulas like this, which don't contain irritating ingredients such as perfumes and essential oils. When I first ordered this, I was expecting it to either have kind of a funky natural smell or no smell at all, but it actually has a subtle yet incredibly fresh scent that I really like (husband is also a fan of it). This purchase is worth every penny.

I was pleasantly surprised by this cream. I have oily skin and I struggle with enlarged pores and a variety of impurities on my face. I usually opt for mattifying creams as I feel like most products just emphasize my oiliness. However, this one is very light in texture and sinks into the skin fast. It gives me a healthy glow which lasts all day, without leaving my face looking oily. My makeup sits so well on top of it and I honestly couldn't be happier.
